Attention NCSTC Track Owners and Managers:
We will be announcing very soon, a date and time for our rescheduled winter Zoom meeting. Previously planned for 12/18/24, that date proved to be to close to the holidays for us to reasonably assemble our key members.
With many of our member tracks gearing-up for the start of the 2025 racing season in February, March, or April, please expect to have our Zoom meeting held very soon. In the interest of time and efficiency, we will plan for the meeting to last no more than an hour.
For this second meeting of NCSTC track owners and management, we should realistically plan to establish a Board of Directors, a unified team/driver/crew member, fine/penalty/suspension guideline to be enforced and honored by all NCSTC tracks, and possibly a marketing package to include all 10 North Carolina Short Track Coalition members.
As a reminder to those in and outside of the grassroots short track racing community, the North Carolina Short Track Coalition is a work in progress that will take time and effort to develop and evolve.
The NCSTC does not intend to discuss individual track schedules as everyone involved has a business plan that they have developed and that works best for their track.
The principals involved in our inaugural meeting last November, know what our focus is going forward. We encourage those of you interested in NCSTC developments to follow us here on our official page and refrain in speculation, gossip, and the usual
cynicism that is so problematic in our sport.
