Conveniently located near the center of our quickly-growing metro area, the store is the perfect place to begin a ride around the 100 miles of world-class greenway that surrounds the city or get advice and a tune before a mountain bike ride at Umstead Park.

Hey trail runners and mountain bikers — we're just 2 days away from Rootrock at Briar Chapel in Chapel Hill!

Challenge yourself on the sweet singletrack, then stick around for tasty food and drinks, lively award ceremonies, free kids races, fun contests, and lots of giveaways.

Morning: Trail Run — 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon
Afternoon: Mountain Biking — Choose from 29 age and skill based categories

Grab your bike and join Oaks & Spokes for a kid-focused group bike ride this summer! “Kidical Mass” rides are fun bike parties that demonstrate that streets should be (and can be!) safe to use for all ages. Rides will gather at 5:30pm on Friday, June 26th at Green Hills Park; Friday, July 17th at the Walnut Creek Wetlands Center; and Friday, August 7th at Eastgate Park.
All rides will be 2.5-3 miles and will feature a mid-ride stop to enjoy a sweet treat (dairy-free options available). Kids of all ages encouraged, but those riding independently should be able to balance a two-wheeled bike. Cargo bikes, kid seats, and trailers are also welcome. View routes and a detailed FAQ:

Already looking forward to making the journey again next spring and congrats to all riders, especially those that tackled Williamson’s flowy singletrack on gravel and road bikes.

Exciting news! Raleigh is set to expand the Mountain Bike Trail at Forest Ridge Park with 7.3 new miles, thanks to a $350,000 Great Trails State Program grant. Construction is currently scheduled for completion in 2028.
