We are extremely ecstatic at the ruling by Judge Gale in the BPACGA's case against Governor Cooper. Each location will be posting details on possibly opening, so please follow each location for more details.

Happy 4th of July! A couple more weeks and we will hopefully be open, cross your fingers!

We were supposed to be open 3 weeks ago and we were told we couldn't. Then we were told Friday, June 25th, would be the day we could open with Phase 3. Today Governer Cooper announced that Phase 3 will not start till, at the earliest, July 17th and that we are still one of the business that cannot open. There are many businesses open but bowling centers are not one of them, hopefully, cases begin to slow or plateau and we will be allowed to open by July 17th, if not earlier. Please reach out to your local news stations and state legislators, ask why are bowling centers still not open in North Carolina. In the meantime, Buffaloe Lanes will be here, waiting patiently to give you the joy that bowling brings to all. Pick up your 10 pins and we will hopefully see you soon.

June 12th, 2020, today should have been the beginning of our 18th Annual Team Championship tournament. It is without a doubt our favorite time of year and an event we look forward to all year long, where we bring in a Professional Bowler to meet all of you; this year would have been PWBA member and USBC HOF Inductee Kelly Kulick. An event where we honor the mother of Buffaloe Lanes Thelma Buffaloe by giving one bowler the Thelma Buffaloe Sportsmanship Award. An event that allows a team to walk away with $5,000 and countless other bowlers get incredible prizes such as a TV, a golf package and more!
We unfortunately cannot have our Team Championship this year but let's not focus on what we can't have and can't do. Let's look to the future and get prepared for an incredible league season that we will cap off with our Team Championship in 2021, a Team Championship that will be the biggest and best we have ever had.
The future is very bright for Buffaloe Lanes and we can't wait to get back to bowling with all of you, our guests, our bowlers and our friends.
Happy Team Championship Day!

Do you love and miss bowling? Please consider signing this petition to get North Carolina back to bowling...bowling centers were unfortunately left out of Governor Cooper's Phase 2 business re-openings and we feel this is unjust, especially considering some of the business's that are allowed to open. Bowling centers have gone above and beyond to make sure their facilities are properly sanitized, staff have the proper training and have altered their LARGE facilities to accommodate all social distancing guidelines. As stated before, please consider signing this petition, started by Nancy Schenk of B&B Lanes in Fayetteville and help get North Carolina back to bowling!
Can you spare a minute to help Nancy Schenk?

We are incredibly saddened at Governor Cooper's press conference earlier today. We were originally supposed to be included in the Phase 2 reopening but bowling centers have now been moved to Phase 3, which will not begin till, at the earliest, June 26th. Our ownership and management team has not determined if that will be the day we open or if it will be later. It was exciting to think we could open our doors this weekend and see everyone but we will have to wait quite a bit longer and just like you we are at a loss for words on being excluded from Phase 2. Just know Buffaloe Lanes is here to stay and we will open our doors at some point. Be sure to keep an eye out for more information as we go into June. We miss everyone and hope you all stay safe and healthy.

Are you ready to get back to bowling?!? We cannot wait to have bowlers in our centers, having fun and knocking down pins again.
Our #1 priority is to keep you and our staff happy and healthy while enjoying the great sport of bowling so while we have been closed our management team has developed new guidelines to keep our bowling center’s clean. All staff members will be well versed on how and where to clean, once we re-open, so that your mind can be put at ease while enjoying Buffaloe Lanes.
Phase 2 is set to begin on Friday, May 22nd and bowling centers will be included in this phase. We are still anxiously awaiting Governor Roy Cooper’s press conference, to be Wednesday at 5pm, updating everyone on if Phase 2 will begin this Friday and what guidelines we will have to adhere to.
We are proud to be able to provide our community with exciting and clean, family-friendly fun and the Buffaloe Lanes Family cannot wait to have guests on the lanes again!
Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and check the websites for more updates on our reopening.

Buffaloe Lanes would like to congratulate our very own, Melissa McDaniel, on being voted as the President of the USBC! Please join us in congratulating Melissa on achieving this prestigious position!
The USBC Board of Directors approved a special resolution to cancel the 2020 USBC Convention and postpone the Annual Meeting until 2021 because of COVID-19 public health restrictions. The resolution was enacted to ensure a proper governance process under USBC Bylaws.
The USBC board also held its officer elections, with Melissa McDaniel of Raleigh, N.C., elected president and Adam Mitchell of Centreville, Va., selected as vice president.
