Big day for the Redhawks youth program! 🏉🔥

Our 10U Redhawks battled through a strong day of rugby, earning wins over the Charlotte Cardinals and Lake Wylie to advance to the championship match against SoPi Red. The boys came up just short in the final, finishing as tournament runners-up after a series of hard-fought matches filled with tough, sound rugby and outstanding teamwork.

We couldn’t be prouder of the effort from both 10U Redhawks teams. The resilience, positivity, and growth this group showed all season long has been something special to watch.

Our 12U Rattlehawks also put together a strong performance, earning a great win in their play-in match against SoPi Black before facing powerhouse SoPi Red. While the final result didn’t go their way, the improvement from the beginning of the season to now has been incredible. Their toughness, confidence, and development on the pitch were evident every step of the way.

Huge thank you to all the players, coaches, and families for an amazing season of rugby. The future is bright for Redhawks Rugby! 🔴⚫️

Yesterday was a special day for the Raleigh RedHawks as we hosted the NCYRU Rugby Jamboree in Apex. The fields were full of energy, smiles, and the kind of moments that remind us why this game means so much to our community.

A huge thank you to all the coaches, parents, and especially our RedHawks high school boys and girls who stepped up as volunteers. Your leadership, effort, and commitment made the day run smoothly and created an incredible experience for the next generation of players.

As one of our coaches perfectly said:
“Thank you today was really great! Every single kid out there had a smile on their face and built some core memories today—including the high schoolers and the old kids who get to coach these awesome youngsters! Hats off to everyone!!”

That’s what it’s all about—growing the game, building memories, and strengthening our rugby family. Proud to be RedHawks. 🏉
