- 12x24 fully covered stall
- Bermuda hay morning and night
- Stall cleaning 7 days a week
- Multiple turnouts: 2 round pens, 1 large arena, and pasture access
- Trails are riding distance off the property

For those large animal lovers! This is an awesome opportunity put on by the emergency services!

Do you own or know someone who has large animals? Do you have concerns about Emergency Evacuation Orders, how to receive notifications and how to prepare? If so, then please join our Equine Evacuation Planning Meeting - Wednesday, November 9th, 6:30pm at Council Chambers, 13325 Civic Center Drive in Poway. Presenters at this meeting are the Sheriff's Department, Fire Department, Department of Animal Services and County Office of Emergency Services. Each agency will discuss how they are involved in the decision making of issuing evacuation orders and how to respond. There will be plenty of opportunities for Q & A with each agency. Last month was a very important month for many diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and their loved ones. It hits close to home as we have a family member and also a boarder here at Sunflower Ranch, that has been diagnosed with this syndrome. EDS is a group of inherited disorders that mostly affect the skin, joints, and blood vessel walls. The EDS community adopted the zebra as its mascot not only because it’s a very rare disease (just like the uniqueness of a zebra’s stripes) but also that “sometimes when you hear hoofbeats, it really is a zebra” (meaning not everything is as it seems). **Special Announcement**
It’s been a while since we have posted so we wanted to reach out about our future schedule. We have some exciting changes coming (possibly a few rated series… cough cough). However, these last few months we have been closely tracking this terrible EHV1/EHM that has been affecting the Southern California horse world, and feel it is not safe to open up at this time. We are hoping this outbreak will cease and we can being to have more fun with our horse family. Our hearts go out to those who’s horses are affected by this virus! ❤️

Hey guys,

6 year old OTTB looking for his forever home. His name is Rockaway and he is full of personality and energy. He has had quite a bit of training. Great English prospect. Not very spooky, not recommend for a beginner, he’s really good as long as he gets out but he does not like to sit as stated above he has energy. He will go and go as long as you ask, he very much enjoys to work!
