This week has been rough for me. During the lockdown, whenever I had a stressful time I neglected my practice. This week I really had to “push” myself to stick with it. I’ve been working on releasing tension and my breathe work, yesterday I got to take a class which was nice to work on things that I don’t usually do on my own. I’ve found I really like to do yoga before bed and I’ve done some meditation before bed too. Hopefully next week will be a little “easier”

Yesterday was about focusing on my breath and letting go of things I can’t control, which now a days is everything! Today I worked in strength, working on crow pose which has been tricky for me because I have to trust my body’s strength to balance my weight on my arms. Can definitely feel my core in all my standing poses.

Last night I didn’t post because I did yoga right before bed, which I am truly enjoying. Today’s practice had me remembering to be patient with my body and my practice because it will come, whether I was doing it months ago or something I’ve been working on for a while.

Moon salutations, in honor of our full moon, followed by legs up the wall. Opening and settling hips back in place before bed for a good nights sleep.

Day 1 of 30 day challenge. A little Vinyasa to Chris Cornell and savasana to Patience, reminding me not only to be patience with my body but also my life. Can definitely tell I’m out of practice, my chatarungas need some work.
