Rancho Cordova Athletic Association

This one makes my heart happy. It started with a simple idea. In 2024 for the Hall of Fame event, we pondered, what would it be like to use current Lancers to honor, greet and welcome the Legends of Lancerland?

Now, numerous sports across the campus participate in being the Cordova Curbers (Curb Greeter of VIP Inductees and Guests).

They turn up and turned out this year. Here a great, and short feel good story that restores the hope in the future.

"Nearly 50 Cordova High School athletes showed up for the Rancho Cordova Sports Hall of Fame. But they weren't there to be honored. They were there to serve."

I love the Fall. Great weather. Great activities. Great people.

At RCAA, there are four reoccurring themes we want to remind, remember, and repeat...

RCAA's CORE FOUR

ONE:
Nearly 20 sports: Kids heading toward different activities.

TWO:
Registration fee Assistance: Discreet and quiet. Confidential too.

THREE:
Participation growth: An ordinary, busy youth sports morning.

FOUR:
A place for every kid: A coach helping one player join the drill.

Fall Ball is here! Nowadays, Fall Ball is as just as exciting as Opening Day in the Spring! Granted, a few more rain outs.

Go Get Em' Future Lancers.

And just like that… fall ball is here and swingin’ ! 💚⚾️🧡

The Rancho Cordova Giants and Rancho Cordova Emeralds hit the field for their first game of the season, and both teams came ready to play! 💪

Such a great game from both sides and an awesome way to kick off the season with a lit up field with lights and smiles!

We’re so excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for all of our RCLL teams!

Great job, Giants & Emeralds! 💚🧡⚾️👏

Have you gotten your RC Sports Hall of Fame tickets? This event is a fitting tribute to all the coaches, teachers, and parents who helped the honored athletes win on and off the field.

One may say, "But I didn't attend Cordova High School!" Did you know that recipients are from Rancho Cordova but represent many communities?

One may say, "I don't know the recipients." That is perfect. The night is to introduce them to you (and me).

Last one: "Why does RC Sports Hall of Fame continue annually?"
We host the annual Hall of Fame to preserve the rich legacy of the sports community and promote its longevity so future generations know why Rancho Cordova is home!
