Points race #7 and #8 are complete at American Quarter Midget Association!

We had a lot of fun this weekend racing! It was hot!! 🥵 Blake has improved so much with his line up’s, starts and racing clean! He still has a lot to learn, but we are so proud of him! Jr. Honda has some tough competition!

Saturday: 7 cars
Heat race: Started 6th - Finished 7th
Main event: Started 5th - Finished 7th

Sunday: 10 cars
Heat race: Started 1st - Finished 5th
Main event: Started 7th - Finished 10th

We will be back next Saturday at AQMA for the Monza.

Points race #5 and #6 are complete at American Quarter Midget Association!

This was the first weekend racing in the competitive Jr. Honda class with a full field of 12 cars and we got our butts handed to us! These kids are fast! But we did have some mechanical and setup issues all weekend that did play a huge part in our overall performance, so hopefully we can work on that and be ready to hit the track again in a few weeks.

Thank you to our family and friends that came out to support us, it means so much to us!

Saturday: 12 cars
Heat race: Started 6th - Finished 6th
Main event: Started 9th - DNF

Sunday: 13 cars
Heat race: Started 4th - Finished 6th
B main: Started 7th - Finished 7th
Did not make the A main 😔

We will be back in 3 weeks for points race #7 & #8.

Race day #2! Today we have 13 cars in his Jr. Honda class so they will be running a B main. Wish us luck that we make the A!

Wrapped up points race #4 at American Quarter Midget Association! Today’s race went much better as far as speed goes, but we still need to work on our starts. But one thing about Blake is he is a smooth and clean driver. Just have a few things to work on and he will do great!

We have a few months off of racing and we will back at AQMA on 8/17 & 8/18.

Points race #3 is complete at American Quarter Midget Association! There were 4 cars on the track and they are all fast! We struggled a bit today. He’s sleeping on the green and lifting in the turns, but it will all come with more seat time!
