That’s a wrap on the first race of the year. We had some fun in senior and the top 10 did a dog fight in warmup. A great way to start the day! There was no quali, instead it was p*e pick. I picked 4th out of 16. Heat 1 I started 4th, got up to 3rd quickly, and then finished 2nd after almost flipping while making a pass into T1. Heat 2 was an inverted grid meaning I would start 11th. T3 there was a big wreck where I was able to almost scrape away. I ended up getting a bent axle, but we didn’t let that stop us. I went from 11th to 3rd. The starting grid for the main was based on points throughout the two heats. I started on the pole, but just didn’t have the pace to get it done. I had a great race with and , where I finished 3rd overall. Such a fun race and I would like to say thank you to for all of the good races and good memories these past few years. I wish you so much luck and happiness as you start a new college filled chapter of your life.
