Coach Dee SCSU Assistant Coach & Recruiting Coordinator. Enjoy Exploring Coach Dee's page. Despite limited finances, my mom made a way for me to participate in gymnastics.

I help gymnasts, cheerleaders, tumblers, and other amazing athletes excel in their sports by fine tuning their technique, drilling the skills to mastery, and adding that little bit of “spice” to their choreographed routines. I was born and raised in Georgia where I started my dance career at age 3 and discovered my love for performing. Now, as Founder of Elite Talent Academy, I am able to fulfill a lifelong dream of creating a program to help young gymnasts achieve their dreams regardless of their life experiences. I also travel the world training gymnasts, athletes, and coaches in my advanced skills and drills techniques. My coaching style is nurturing, but also disciplined and structured. I love to have FUN! And I am known to spontaneously bust a move or two! At the end of the day, coaching is about so much more than just the sport. My goal is to reinforce important social skills, enforce consistency, and help my athletes become good teammates and who support and encourage each other. As your child conquers physical challenges they may have never thought possible, they develop confidence, and get inspired to do more and try new things. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about. It’s these lessons they carry for a lifetime, and ultimately, the reason why I do what I do…

Just a friendly reminder of why we chose this life as coaches. 💙

Some days are hard. We’re carrying our own lives while still being expected to show up for everyone else. So much of what we do goes unseen. We’re pulled in a million different directions, and somewhere in between, we can forget to pour back into ourselves.

But even on those days, it remains true: this is one of the best jobs in the world.

We get to teach, encourage, challenge, celebrate, and watch athletes grow right in front of us. These are just a few reminders of why I still believe club coaches have the best job in the world. 🫶🏾

I chose this life. I chose the changes. I chose the challenges.

Every day I walk into the gym and coach these athletes, I heal spaces within myself I didn’t even realize needed healing. I get to use my testimony to help someone else through their test. I get to be the coach I needed while becoming more of the woman I’m called to be.

And I know I belong here because of the love that is poured right back into me. Forever grateful for this opportunity. This is why I have the best job in the world. 💙

And on top of all that… I get to be fabulous while doing it. 😂💅🏾

Happy Anniversary to the greatest love of all! 💞 Three years later, and I’d still choose you over and over again. Thank you for being the best husband, my best friend, my safe place, and the greatest life partner a woman could ask for. Through every season, every high, every low, and everything in between, I’m grateful I get to do this life with you.
