Palos Verdes Peninsula Girls Softball League is a non-profit recreational softball league that serves girls ages 4 through 14 residing on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and surrounding communities.

Fall ball returns this week, and it’s all about development — sharpening skills, building confidence, and getting better every day!

🍂 Fall Ball registration closes July 31! Don’t miss your chance to hit the field this fall!

🥎 Fall Ball is all about player development in a fun, low-pressure environment where girls can build confidence, improve their skills, and play with friends.

👉 What to expect:
• Two weekday practices each week
• Sunday games (plus a few Saturdays) against neighboring leagues
• A fun, developmental season designed to prepare players for spring

🔥 Fall Select is back! Players looking for more competitive play can try out for our Select teams on Thursday, August 27. New this year, players who make Select can choose to play both Rec + Select or Select only for a lighter schedule.

💰 Registration: $295 for Rec or Select | $570 for both.

⚾ Register your player for the division she’ll play in during Spring 2027.

From setting intentional goals and defining the kind of teammates we want to be, to building resilience when faced with challenges, these lessons extend far beyond the field.

We are incredibly grateful for the coaches, mentors, and adults who invest in our young people and help foster these important qualities.

Fall Ball registration is officially OPEN 🥎🍂

After an amazing Spring season, we’re excited to get back on the field for a fun, flexible, development-focused Fall Ball season designed to work alongside other fall sports.

✔️ One practice per week
✔️ Games mostly on Sundays
✔️ Doubleheaders for extra reps and playing time
✔️ Matchups against local South Bay leagues
✔️ A fun, low-pressure environment to grow skills and build confidence

Fall Ball is open to girls in 7U–14U and players should register for the division they’ll play in during Spring 2027. Moving up a division? Fall Ball is the perfect way to get comfortable at the next level.

We’re also hoping to offer 7U teams this fall pending interest and scheduling availability!

Yesterday’s game between PVIS and Ridgecrest featured athletes who all currently play or have played in PVPGSL, with many preparing to continue their softball journeys at the high school level.

It’s incredibly rewarding to see how our league has helped foster a love for the game and created lasting friendships, confidence, and opportunities for these athletes.

We can’t wait to follow their progress in high school and beyond.

We’re excited to introduce our 2026 PVPGSL All-Star teams!

These players and coaches will represent Palos Verdes Peninsula Girls Softball League this summer after a season filled with growth, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.

Congratulations to the girls selected, and thank you to every player, coach, volunteer, and family who made this spring season so special.

We’ve got a special treat cooking for Closing Day this Saturday! 🥞

Our very own field maintenance coordinator, Jeff Huber — the man responsible for keeping our fields looking fantastic all season long — will be stepping into a new role as the league’s official Griddle Boss.

The championship games and griddle both fire up at 10 AM, so come on out to Cornerstone for pancakes, softball, and a fun morning celebrating all of the girls and another great season together!

Another exciting weekend of softball at Cornerstone brought more teams together to celebrate their seasons and recognize the players who best embodied the spirit of Whitney Young—honored by the PVPGSL community for her sportsmanship, friendship, and love of the game.
