• Proposed rule addresses gray areas in 18
U.S.C. 926A regarding transport and necessary activities while traveling.

• It safeguards not just fi***rms but also am******on and accessories as long as they are legal at both starting and ending locations.

• Travelers must store fi***rms unloaded and in a locked container during breaks where they cannot secure them.

• The proposed rule is still subject to public comment until August 4, 2026, before becoming final law.

Classes have resumed under the new mandates. For now, current pricing will remain in effect until further notice.

All live fire requirements have been suspended, including in towns such as Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree etc. If a licensing officer requests a live fire component, please reach out to GOAL for assistance.

The updated course includes significantly more material and now requires passing a test. We strongly recommend bringing lunch or snacks, along with a pen and paper for note-taking.
