I’m always so thankful for the people I get to meet because of horses. ❤️
We had a lot of new faces at the cattlework clinic with Jason Drass this weekend—some great people and some great horses!

There’s nothing quite like working cattle to show you what you need to work on with your horse. So many great horsemanship questions were answered, and it was fun to see the improvements made throughout the weekend.

Thankful for the horses, the learning, the progress, and most of all, the people who make weekends like this so special. 🐴

Schooling cross country at Huntington. What a beautiful course!
I had high hopes for Rowen but Kassie was the real star! She had never even jumped a vertical and she was just supposed to keep Rowen company but once she understood the assignment she was a beast!
So fun!
It will be fun to see how Rowen progresses but today once we got him talked into jumping I was fighting for my life to not get jumped out of the tack 😵‍💫

I’ve been looking for another lesson horse and recently I began to realize it wasn’t realistic to find a safe, well trained horse in my budget, so we’ve promoted from within!

Westley is a 6 year old Chincoteague Pony. I started Westley under saddle a couple of years ago with Jade Premont and he’s proven to be nothing but honest.
Today I had Emery test him out to get him ready for the kids to ride and he was as good as gold 🤩
Thank you Lori Basch for allowing us to lease Westley for the Daybreak Farm lesson program 💕

Great day at Mid-state Riding Club Open Show!
I’m always so impressed by these girl’s grit and determination. It pairs nicely with their love for their horses 💕
All of their hard work paid off with some great placings in their classes and they were happy to get the judges feedback on what they can improve on for next time.

We have some really nice
horses available for half or full lease at the barn right now! Maybe you’ve been wanting to buy a horse but it’s not in the budget. Leasing might be a great option to get more saddle
time!

Straightness exists between two parallel lines, and peace lives there. Take it with you in everything you do, and you’ll find horses relax significantly.

No horse likes to be mentally and physically out of balance- it is simply good husbandry to show the horse the center.
