A fireworks display will once again light up the sky above Mount Rushmore National Memorial on July 3, 2026, as part of the nation's 250th anniversary celebration.


Tickets are required to attend the July 3 festivities and fireworks viewing and will be allocated through a lottery on Recreation.gov. Applications can be submitted from April 8-12. Each applicant may request up to four tickets, along with either a parking space or shuttle service option. Lottery results will be announced on April 14.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for something to do in the Black Hills area! The check in process with Julie is super easy and Chuck was a great tour guide, extremely knowledgeable of the history of the area and of the trail system. Make sure to dress for any type of weather as it can be unpredictable at times. We had a mix of all weather types on our trip but Chuck altered the route to stay as clear as we could of the weather. It was all part of the experience. Book the tour, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful trip for the family. We enjoyed Chucks knowledge and passion for the Blackhills and his wonderful stories. He was engaging not only with adults but as well as our 2 boys. We had about 3 hrs of driving and about 30-45 minute small hike to an old mining location. Highly recommend.

We had a blast and got our money’s worth…and then some! Chuck was an awesome guide who knows every trail in the area, as well as the history! The whole family enjoyed it - ages 5 - 73.

It was fantastic! Rick and I had such an enjoyable time. It was our first time ever driving an UTV and it was super easy! Church mad our trip fun by giving us some interesting facts. Stopping st the Gorman house where he first found gold in the Black Hills and then Chuck gave us more information about the ancients. ( probably the correct term for Native Americans).
We stopped an took in the views at various places. The colors were perfect. We laughed many times going over the rocks and we were amazed how easy the vehicals maneuvered over the rocks. The trip was highlighted by some rain and hail which we just laughed about that too.
Thank you for allowing us the ride! It was a BLAST!

We had an unforgettable time on our ATV tour! Our guide Chuck was absolutely amazing—super knowledgeable about the history of the Black Hills, especially the mining background, which made the ride both fun and educational. We spotted wildlife like deer and turkeys and saw so much beautiful quartz throughout the trails. We’re a group of 8 ladies on a girls trip, and Chuck was the perfect guide for us—fun, engaging, and always happy to take our photos any time we asked. Julie was also wonderful to work with, from our first inquiry all the way until we left. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

Yesterday we started our season!
We had an amazing couple go out with Chuck! Come to find out she was from our home town and we hadn’t seen her in years! Love what we do everyday is an adventure!!
