Special Announcement:
Over 10 years ago I (Doug Napier) had a dream......
To positively promote dirt racing in the Black Hills area. I gathered 2 characters to go on this journey with me, Mike Pennel and Lynn Amick, and we set out to change the scene of racing in the area for the better. Through podcasts, pictures, videos, interviews, and generally having tons of fun, I think we accomplished some of our goals.
The past couple of years, we have taken a break from doing what we do best because of my schedule (lie) and the fact that my heart just hasn't been motivated to keep pushing uphill against forces that seem to not need us. We have spent thousands of dollars over the past 10 years out of our own pockets, and have never received any financial help, other that the great businesses that supported us through sponsorships and paid promotions.
Earlier this week I tried to go onto one of the local racetracks page to promote the schedule of this year, only to find out I have been blocked from their site. I am kinda done. earlier, I have even stepped down from my position on the BHS Hall of Fame committee.
All this to say I am soon officially closing the webpage and page due to fact that my give-a-crapper is empty. (unless someone wants to take over ownership of the Black Hills Race Talk Brand and fight this fight)
If you have pictures you have enjoyed over the past 10 years that are on this page, you might want to go find them and save them. If you have podcasts that you have enjoyed, you might want to go re-listen to them. Unless something changes, it will all disappear soon.
Thanks for the memories and I am grateful for the great friends I have met over the years.
