We’d like to clear up some misinformation.

The Rapid City Kennel Club has always had a policy of not doubling up on vendors who offer the same or similar services or products for sale.

This policy applies to everyone equally and is simply intended to give each vendor a fair opportunity at our events. There is no political, personal, or other agenda against anyone, despite what may be suggested on social media.

We appreciate everyone who supports our club and our events.

This year we are having two Open Shows. What’s an open show you ask…. Well it’s a show that allows dogs that are in Foundation Stock Services and Miscellaneous to show. Dogs are placed in these groups prior to being accepted by AKC.

What FSS / Miscellaneous breeds are you hoping to see and learn more about?

We have a change to the judging program for the Saturday Oct 18 show.

Instead of groups at the same time at the end of both shows, we are running a complete show then the second show.
