Always better to plan ahead for the 4th of July. Keep your furry companions in your mind with the up coming holiday. They don’t understand our enjoyment of fireworks…well there are a few odd ducks out there that do enjoy watching them.

- Make sure collars and tags are on just in case of escapees.
- try to keep them inside once it’s dark.
- take out on a leash just in case even in a fenced in area
- think about thunder shirts or other calming aids
- never too late to start training to tolerate noise
- visit with your vet for stronger calming aids just in case

Please include any other ideas to help protect our pets during this upcoming g holiday.

Enjoyed the scentwork intro Tuesday? Come join us for two more fun events at Canine Collective!
This time, we will run AKC Rally courses and you can take the opportunity to practice with your dog. We will have a competition size ring and will offer courses for Novice through Master levels.
Again, 100% of the proceeds will go to Nuisance Farm and Sanctuary. 🥰

If you’re looking for something fun fum for your dogs to do check out lure chasing or dock diving. Also open to spectators if you’re curious about either sport and want to learn more.

July 10th - July 12th will be our 3rd annual K9 Extravaganza in conjunction with K-9 STAC of South Dakota Training & Sports Complex. We have three days of fun in the sun with your dogs.

Pre-registration for dock diving and fast cat. Other events will be day of sign up: CGC, Trick Dog, farm dog and the important rattlesnake avoidance training.

Rattle Snakes are bad this year. Please take the time to get your dogs trained to avoid rattle snakes.

Buzz will be in Spearfish at the VFW waiting to train your dogs to.avoid him. Clinic is Saturday morning starting at 9 am. Call 605-390-9508 to reserve your slot.

If you’re looking to try something new with your dogs here is an opportunity to try shed or urban rat hunting. Proceeds will be going to a pig rescue so it’s a win all around. Fun with dogs and helping rescue critters.
