When Terry first came to us in October, he couldn’t squat to a bench. Look at him now!
His mobility, strength, and confidence have grown tremendously — even if he still prefers to work out in jeans. 😉 The first time we introduced the trap bar, he was hesitant, but once we compared it to carrying a load of groceries, he gave it a shot… and never looked back.
Terry rarely misses a workout, and his joie de vivre lights up our gym every day. His consistency and hard work are paying off in a big way, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress he’s made.
Thank you, Terry, for inspiring all of us with your dedication and positive spirit!

Training for the Firefighter Recruit Class with EXOS
We know that training to be a member of the Fire Department requires more than just physical strength—it demands specialized conditioning for the tasks you’ll face every day on the job! That’s why we provide training that targets the specific demands of firefighting.
This movement mimics the intense, full-body movements required to climb ladders, carry heavy equipment, and navigate fire scenes. It’s a powerful way to simulate the physical challenges recruits will face during their test and on the job.
Vertical Climbing: Preps recruits for the stair and ladder climbs they’ll face in real-life emergencies.
Total Body Endurance: Builds strength and stamina across arms, legs, and core—just like carrying hoses, tanks, and gear.
High-Intensity Cardio: Boosts the cardiovascular fitness needed to endure long, physically demanding shifts.
We focus on conditioning that prepares recruits not just to pass the test, but to excel at everything firefighting requires. Whether it’s climbing, carrying, or moving through tough environments, we’ve got you covered.
Ready to take your training to the next level? Let’s get prepared—one climb at a time!
Why form matters when lifting heavy
Heavy weights don’t forgive sloppy technique.
• Injury prevention: Small mistakes get amplified under load. Good form protects your joints and spine.
• More strength: Proper alignment = better force transfer. You lift more by lifting smarter.
• Long-term gains: Clean reps beat ego reps. Consistency > setbacks.
• Right muscles, right work: Form keeps tension where it belongs instead of dumping it on your lower back.
• Irony of lifting: The better your form, the heavier you’ll lift over time.
Heavy weight + bad form = short-term flex, long-term pain.
Heavy weight + good form = strength that lasts.
Train smart. Lift strong.

What an amazing morning! Our community came together to move with purpose — kicking off with yoga and mobility, powering through strength and treadmill classes, and finishing with an FRC mobility and recovery session.
Every rep, every stretch, and every stride was in honor of breast cancer awareness and supporting those who fight, survive, and thrive. 💖
Thank you to everyone who showed up, sweated it out, and brought the energy! 💗
What a way to end the first half! Hill City High School sophomore kicker Logan boomed a massive 52-yard field goal with room to spare, putting the Rangers up 23-0! The kick was just one of many highlights in a stellar 53-0 win for the team. Logan is definitely a name to watch!
