Rapid City Taekwondo Academy We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) taekwondo school dedicated to helping students of all ages build confidence, discipline & leadership skills.

Our mission: inspire excellence, on & off the mat. Our Master Instructors have a combined 55+ years of experience. Junior classes - Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:25 p.m. Adult classes - Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Rapid City Taekwondo Academy does not unlawfully discriminate internally (in its administrative and program operations) or externally (in provision of services) on the basis of race, political orientation, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ethnicity, ancestry, marital status, veteran status, or mental or physical disability or any other status prohibited by applicable law.

We’re honored to welcome Mrs. Lisa Maka and Mrs. Sarah Smith from Maka’s Taekwondo for a special Poomsae class the night before our in-house tournament. Come sharpen your skills and connect with others from all across South Dakota!

Each session will introduce kids to the basics of Taekwondo through age-appropriate activities designed to build coordination, confidence, focus, and fitness—all while having a great time! 🎉
