🍌🏆 WACKY PANT WEDNESDAY CHAMPION! 🏆🍌

And the winner is… GM JEN!! 🎉👏

Jennifer and her fabulous style have claimed the banana trophy! 🍌 She gets bragging rights AND the honor of keeping the trophy all winter long! 😎

What a showdown this season! The Golf Shop took home the win for 3 months, and the Admin Office also claimed 3 months. Looks like we have a tie to settle next spring! 👀

Thanks to everyone who joined in on the fun and kept us laughing all season! Have a great winter, and we’ll see you next spring for another round of Wacky Pant Wednesday! 🍌😂

Who’s ready to defend their title?! 🏆

🍌👖 THE FINAL WACKY PANT WEDNESDAY! 👖🍌

It’s hard to believe, but we’ve reached the last Wacky Pant Wednesday of the season! And our crew definitely decided to go out with a bang! 😂

🔥 #1 Katy – Cruella de Vil vibes! 🖤🤍❤
Serving serious Cruella realness with the black-and-white combo, red accents, and that scarf. All she needs is a dalmatian and a puppy-napping plan! 🐶😂

🎨 #2 Brent – Walking Work of Art!
Brent decided that if you can’t choose one color, wear ALL of them! 🌈 Those pants are definitely making a statement!

💜 #3 Ted – Keeping It Cool in Purple!
Ted went with the monochromatic look and proved that purple is absolutely a power color. Looking sharp, Ted! 😎

🐟 #4 Jennifer – Just Keep Swimming!
Jennifer said, “Why wear ordinary pants when you can wear a whole school of fish?” 🐟😂 The fish pants are definitely making a splash!

And just like that, Wacky Pant Wednesday 2026 is officially in the books! 📚👖

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated, voted, laughed, and showed us that golf professionals and staff can have a little fun with fashion! 🍌😂

Now the big question… WHO takes the final Top Banana?! 🍌🏆

🇺🇸 Thank You, Twin Lakes

A sincere thank you to everyone from Twin Lakes who came out this morning to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

On this 25th anniversary, it was inspiring to see members of our community gather together in silence, raising flags and taking time out of their day to reflect on the sacrifices, courage, and resilience that emerged from one of our nation's darkest days.

The simple act of showing up demonstrates that we have not forgotten. We remember the victims, the first responders, the military members, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

Thank you to Stan Handley and Lynn Moyer for suggesting this gathering and to everyone who participated. Your presence helped ensure that the spirit of remembrance remains alive in Twin Lakes.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

⛳️ Happy Thank a Superintendent Day! 🌲

Today we’re giving a HUGE shoutout to Terry and his incredible crew! 👏👏👏

The course wouldn’t look nearly as good as it does without the countless hours, early mornings, long days, and hard work they put in to keep our greens rolling, fairways looking fabulous, and the whole course in tip-top shape. 🌿🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

And, of course, we can’t forget the most important member of the grounds crew… Winston! 🐾😂 Whether he’s supervising, inspecting, or just making sure everyone is doing their job, he takes his role VERY seriously.

So this week (because everyday should be Thank a Super), when you’re enjoying those beautiful fairways and greens, take a minute to thank Terry and his crew for all they do to make Twin Lakes Village the special place it is. ❤️

Winston says: “You’re welcome. I’ll be accepting treats in lieu of a thank-you card.” 🐶😂

Thank you, Terry & Crew! We appreciate you more than you know! 💚⛳️

🌸 Wacky Wednesday: Ladies Edition... plus Brent! 🌸

This month's competition brought out some serious style and personality!

✨ Contestant #1: Jen, our General Manager, fully embraced the "On Wednesdays We Wear Pink" philosophy and absolutely understood the assignment.

✨ Contestant #2: Jacqueline, owner of MoonDollars, arrived serving boho-chic vibes with statement pants that may or may not have been visible from space.

🧜‍♀️ Contestant #3: Katy, our Member Relations Director, channeled her inner Ariel with mermaid-worthy metallic pants that shimmered with every step.

🏌️ Contestant #4: Brent, our Assistant Golf Professional. Brent may have forgotten it was Wacky Wednesday, but he's not sweating it. After all, he's already a two-time Top Banana Champion. Confidence? Never in short supply.

👀 Be sure to check out the comments for Brent's last-minute attempt to join the ladies by raiding the golf shop clothing racks. Let's just say... he found a navy number that made quite the statement.

🤔 The question remains: Is Brent officially one of the gals, or was this just a strategic play for votes?

🖐️⛳️ IT’S NATIONAL LEFT-HANDED DAY! ⛳️🖐️

Today we’re celebrating all the southpaws, lefties, wrong-handers, and those of us who just do things a little differently! 😂

Here at Twin Lakes, we’ve got our fair share of left-handed golfers—and we want to know:

👇 WHO’S OUR LEFTY CREW?! 🖐️

Drop a 🖐️ in the comments if you’re a left-handed golfer, tag your favorite Twin Lakes lefty, or tell us what’s harder about being a lefty on the course! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

And remember… lefties may be in the minority, but they’re always keeping us on our toes! 😉

Happy National Left-Handed Day from all of us at Twin Lakes! 🖐️⛳️💚

🍌 The reign is over! 🍌

After months of the Golf Shop proudly holding the coveted Top Banana title, the crown has officially changed hands... 👑

Congratulations to Katy from the Admin Office, our Top Banana for August! 🍌💛

It was a very tight race, but Katy peeled away from the competition just enough to claim victory. The Golf Shop may be nursing a bruised bunch of bananas today, but there's always next month! 😉

Who will be the next Top Banana? Stay tuned... the competition is officially heating up! 🍌🏆🎉
