Stop assuming. Start shooting.
There’s a lot of noise out there about our limbs and some of it wrong.
We don’t build “super recurves.”
We build our limbs. Designed from the ground up. Materials engineered specifically for performance, not borrowed ideas.
Brace height recommendations? Irrelevant.
There is no “magic number.” Our limbs tune based on the designed flex, not a specific number.
“Fast bows are loud.”
Wrong. Our fastest limbs are also our quietest. Performance doesn’t require compromise.
“Lighter limbs are faster.”
No. That’s lazy thinking. Speed isn’t measured on a weight scale, it’s proven through a chronograph.
“Modify your grip to tune.”
Absolutely not. Your bow should adapt to you, not force you to change your shooting.
GPP requirements? String restrictions?
We don’t hide behind rules. Shoot what works. Our warranty stands with you.
String walking?
Yes. All day. Every limb style.
Carbon vs. glass “doesn’t matter”?
That’s what people say when they don’t understand materials. Carbon isn’t just a label, it’s how it’s engineered. Ours is purpose-built, and it shows.
Bottom line:
If you’re applying past logic to our limbs, you’re going to miss out on the future of limb technology.
These aren’t the typical aggressive recurve or conventional limbs.
Shoot them…Then decide.

Over the years of building ILF limbs, I’ve come to appreciate that archers who choose this platform tend to have a true bowyer’s spirit. While it’s easy to pair limbs and a riser from the same manufacturer and keep things simple, the ILF system gives you the freedom—and responsibility—to tune your setup more intentionally.
Since we don’t currently offer risers, it’s on us to help educate and support that process. That’s why we’ve created a comprehensive guide, and we continue to update it based on the questions we get from you.
Our latest addition covers riser deflex and how it influences your overall bow system.
The images in this post are snapshots from that update.
This isn’t about saying one deflex or brace height is “best.” It’s about understanding how your choice of riser impacts performance—and using that knowledge to build a setup that works for you.
Trust your bowyer’s spirit.
