Week 6 and the summer finale of Flag Football!

With all the negativity going on about youth football, we had over 100 players this summer come out and give it a shot. Players from Ravenswood, Ripley, Racine, Parkersburg, Elizabeth and others. Parents sacrificed time and evenings each week making it work.

Many of these players have never played football before and wouldn't have considered it. We hope this opportunity allowed players to learn some basics and hopefully build a love for the game.

I want to personally thank all parents, players, my Varsity coaching staff, and the Red Devil football team for sacrificing over 35 hours of their summer to work with the youth.

Ravenswood is a great place. When we drop personal agendas and try to be part of the solution rather than highlight problems, it will get even better.

Week 5 of Flag Football!

PLEASE SHARE - Due to local flash flooding and chances of pop up storms, we are postponing our youth football camp tonight! We will work to find another day soon.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Herbert Hoover and the community during this trying time. Football is just a small portion of what we do. We want the best for all student athletes involved. Prayers up to Herbert Hoover High School.
