Thinking about the Open City Championships...

Should we leave it as a Singles event with Virtual Doubles or would you like it to be more conventional, with Team/Doubles/Singles or something else?

This year's tournament is Singles with the Virtual Doubles, bowling 4 games and will be at Lunar Bowl - May 16-17, 2026.

We are getting ready to shop all our tournaments for 2026-27 and would like to hear if you would like to change this particular tournament for NEXT year.

Last year may have been due to timing and promotion, participation wasn't bad, but can we do this one better?

The entries are flying in the door. We had 3 literally walk in the office today. I am excited to say the least. Based on what I have heard, we could have upwards of 25-30 teams, that's my hope anyway. Be sure your team is in this event!

To the Youth Bowlers, we have an exciting event on Super Bowl Sunday! Yes, the Chiefs aren't in the big game this year, so you should find something fun to do.

The KCUSBC Youth "Super Bowling" Single Championships on Feb 8, 2026, starts at 9am.
