River Community Pool

Dear River Community Pool Patron,

River Community Pool exists as an extension of River Church Family's mission of reviving our communities. We are honored to have been caring for our neighbors through the vital services and resources of River Community Pool for more than two decades. We are grateful for the opportunity to promote physical health and create social connections in a safe and family-centered environment. River Church Family has been privileged to cheerfully give countless hours and thousands of dollars toward this mission through the years, with the support of our community partners.

At the close of our 2025 season, it was apparent that River Community Pool has significant mechanical, plumbing and structural needs that must be addressed before the pool can safely reopen. With value for the health, safety and connection of our community at the forefront of our mission, we must sadly announce that we will not open River Community Pool for the 2026 season. We know this news is disappointing. We wanted to provide you, our season passholders and valued patrons, with this information directly as soon as we possibly could.

We hope to create opportunities to see and connect with you this summer, whether through our children and youth events, movie nights, barbecues or other occasions. We'll be sure to send you information about any celebrations we have planned.

In this world of right answers and busy schedules, we can find ourselves missing out on the childlike sense of WONDER that once made the season so beautiful. Join us at River Church Family (6400 Woodson Rd) on December 24th at 7pm to experience awe and celebrate curiosity this Christmas Eve. We will light candles and sing carols at this special Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, and everyone is welcome. Let's pause to reflect on the WONDER of the season together with friends, family and neighbors.

If you know a middle school student that is looking for something fun to do this summer, send them to River Community Pool on Wednesday nights from 6-8pm! For only $1, students can swim and enjoy summer fun together with friends!

It's time for VBS at River Community Pool! Our VBS is open to all children from Kindergarten through 6th grade and will include time playing with friends and neighbors, FREE swimming, stories from the Bible that will encourage kids, snacks, singing and so much more! Join us from 6-8pm on June 10, 11 and 12 for this fun-filled, FREE, life-changing experience just for kids!
