Bubbletown Girls Wrestling Club

Another fun and productive practice and lift with Coach Ellie today. She did an amazing job this week and we are grateful for the time she continues to volunteer towards making this team even better!

We had an awesome practice today, which was led by former Boiling Springs wrestler, Ellie Shoemaker. Ellie will also lead lifting and practice on Wednesday. Lifting begins at 3:30 followed by practice at 4:45. Please stop in and have some fun learning from a current college wrestler!

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s support during our carwash fundraiser yesterday! Your generosity will go a long way towards supporting these wrestlers.

The Bubbletown Girls Wrestling Club will host a carwash fundraiser tomorrow (Sunday), August 9, 2026 at the old M&T Bank building in Mount Holly Springs. These wrestlers have been lifting and practicing all summer long and any donations will continue to support their efforts. Please stop by tomorrow between 10am-2pm to support these driven student-athletes, they sincerely appreciate it!

A HUGE congratulations to our very own Tori Ward for achieving All-American honors!

Our Club is holding a car wash fundraiser this coming Sunday from 10am-2pm at the old M&T Bank Building in Mt. Holly Springs! Please consider stopping by to help support this hard-working group of wrestlers.

Before we recap this weekend’s results, we think the coolest part of the Chocolatetown Duals was the new friendships we all made with wrestlers and parents from other schools, including ones as close as Bermudian Springs and Northern York,and as far away as Mountain View and Crestwood in northeastern Pennsylvania. We cannot wait to get on the mat again with these outstanding young ladies and we hope to all stay in touch.

Yesterday saw the Chocolatetown Duals come to a close where our four participating freestyle wrestlers continued to wrestle well. Bryn and her PA Savage Wrestling Academy team came in 1st place in the silver bracket. Her team lost a heartbreaking meet to a stout team from New Jersey in the last bout of pool play, 51-45, that would have put them in the gold bracket.

Megan, Michaela and Addy all stepped up for Central Pennies grit, helping them to a 3rd place finish in the bronze bracket. These were Addy’s first ever freestyle matches and you never would have known with how well she wrestled. Megan and Michaela continued to win and get more and more comfortable with this style of wrestling.

We are back at it for day two of the Chocolatetown Duals where we have four wrestlers on freestyle dual teams this morning. Megan, Michaela and Addy will look to bring home the gold with Central Pennies Grit while Bryn’s PA Savage Wrestling Academy team will look to do the same. Good luck, ladies!
