OFFICIAL STATEMENT:
We know that a new season of racing is getting ready to start in the Pauline Davis pavilion, and unfortunately Red Bluff Outlaws isnโt there to promote it. We know there have been questions and lots of rumors.
We havenโt been ready to tell the whole story, and we still arenโt. What we can share is that the Fairgrounds made the decision to put the track out to bid. We were told this right after we finished West Coast Nationals. As many already know, we were not awarded the track. One of the hardest parts of everything that has happened, has been realizing that people we trusted were working behind the scenes in ways we never expected. These were people we trusted, worked alongside, and believed had the same commitment to Red Bluff Outlaws that we did. Trying to process everything that happened has been difficult, not only professionally but personally.
What we can say is this: Red Bluff Outlaws was never just a business to our family. Starting out as a racing family since around 1993 and racing in the Pauline Davis Pavilion, and then having the opportunity to step into the role as promoters was an opportunity we were so excited and humbled to accept.
RBO has always been more than a racetrack. Itโs been generations of racers, families, friendships, and so many memories. Being a promoter meant a lot of late nights, early mornings, countless hours of work, sacrifices most people never saw, but it was an incredible amount of pride watching generations of kids and families walk through those doors. Knowing that maybe we played a small part in creating long lasting memories has meant more to us than words can express.
So to everyone who has been part of that over the years, THANK YOU! We truly had an amazing group of people working with us. You all are what made Red Bluff Outlaws what it is. RBO will always be the true Legacy in go kart racing.
