Elkhorn High Adventure Base Bringing Hands on Adventure to the Colorado Wilderness. Elkhorn is a high adventure base in every sense of the word.

Our location and the challenge of the surrounding mountains allow us to offer the following pportunities:

Six-Day Treks: Arrive on Sunday afternoon, on the trail Monday through Friday and depart on Saturday morning. Ten-Day Treks: Arrive on Wednesday afternoon, on the trail Thursday through the following Friday and depart on Saturday morning. Planned activities include white water rafting and overnight horseback ride. (rafting contingent on river conditions)

50 Miler: A fifty-mile hike from Chimney Park Scout Camp in southern Wyoming back to the Elkhorn High adventure Base. (shuttle service to Chimney Park included)
