Last year they had a big celebration that included $1 Day Passes, a variety of vendors, food trucks, soccer billiards and more and they want to make it even bigger this year.

We think it's paramount to celebrate our students. To celebrate the effort they put in day-in and day-out. To celebrate the special traits we see everyday, in their actions and leadership qualities.
What is a SHERPA?
If you've ever climbed Mount Everest (or at least heard of it...), then you might know of the native mountain guides up there. They were the first to climb the highest and most unforgiving peaks in the world, and are some of the toughest people on Earth.
So... our students don't live in the Himalayas... yet. BUT, in order to celebrate them among the highest excellence at California Adventure Academy, they need to display many of these traits:
1. Grit
2. Respect
3. Gratitude
4. Trustworthy
5. Courageous
6. Kindness
7. Patience
8. Attentive
9. Self-Control
10. Unity
**First up is Asher Zakaryan -- one of our 6th graders. When we talk about excellence and representing these traits, we're talking about Asher.
