Congratulations to all our athletes that took the time to put in the hard work and had the heart to get on stage to show it off, leaving it all on the stage. NFC is proud of you all and we thank everyone that came to support our athletes this year.

Without the support of your loved ones it is hard to go through the endless days of prep and the continuous meal preps.
We give it up for you all that support the hangry times, the highs and lows, and the self doubt.
We want to welcome everyone back for next year where we plan to be bigger and better.
This is this year’s overall winners make sure to show them some love.

Why doesn’t anyone train twice a day anymore? Is it laziness? Like Ronnie Coleman said, everybody wants to be a bodybuilder, but nobody wants to lift heavy. Everyone says they want to be a pro β€” yet a pro bodybuilder’s life is simple: sleep, eat, and train.

Today, people say if you train more than 45 minutes, you’re overtraining. That makes me laugh. Show me any other sport where the top athlete trains only 45 minutes a day. Back then, almost nobody trained just once a day β€” we trained twice, and none of us were overtrained.

If you’re getting enough rest, eating properly, and doing what you need to do for recovery, your body can handle a lot more than people think. To truly overtrain, you have to be missing meals, skipping sleep, or completely neglecting recovery. Otherwise, the body adapts.

The truth is simple: everyone wants to be big, but they want to achieve it in the least amount of time, with the least amount of effort. And bodybuilding has never worked that way. πŸ’ͺ
