Official day 1 of training for our half in October!

It was awful! Battling my lower back and feet going numb are going to make this the most challenging half so have ever done, but this m looking forward to figuring it out!

Tourist Tyler took most of the pics of our lovely trip with Lilly and Starship. We had fun with friends, good times in Catalina, an amazing jalapeño margarita in Ensenada and a good time watching Starship perform.

Today is this gorgeous girl’s birthday! 15 years ago today God blessed me with a gift I never new I needed, a little girl. Now she isn’t so little.

She is strong.
She is fierce.
She is beautiful.
She stands up for what is right.
She hits the “That’s what she said jokes.” A little too on point for this mom.
She is funny.

The list could go on. Lilly we love you more than you will ever know and we are so proud of the young lady you are becoming. Happy birthday 🎂!

Forgot to post the finished product. Doll number two was a special request from T. I promised after doll number one she would be next. So here is my latest labor of ❤️.

Last night was a great show! If you haven’t seen it yet, get there today at 1:00 or 7:00! So much talent, so much fun. We are proud of you .simon !

Crocheting is no joke, these two legs took me FIVE hours!! I know this is only my second project, but who would have thunk two little legs would take so much time!!

Today was a long day and my dogs are tired! But it was a fun day heading to the high school with all my 8th graders, getting to watch Lil’ do her thang, and spread some love on campus after school!

First book of 2023, A Man Called Ove (ooh- va).

I laughed, I cried and have a little hole in my chest.

This is not a book I would have normally picked up. I mean it’s about a grumpy old man who really isn’t grumpy but has a heart that is too big. It’s about a man who loves so deeply, that when it’s lost it’s really hard to live.

I really recommend this book 📚. It is beautiful.
