A Step Ahead Ballroom Dance

The latest news is that AStep Ahead (of course I really mean Ron and I) have begun a weekly 3:00pm EAST COAST SWING class at the Trinity Alliance Church located on Highway 299E.

We have a really great bunch of youngsters having a great time! We are continuing for two additional weeks before moving into the Ballroom dances.

We also have our private lessons available. We will also advise everyone of our plans to put on a ballrooms dance in the not too distant future.

Well we have the summer vacation almost gone.

Sadly, We have decided to semi-retire after 21 years of teaching group classes of beginning ballroom and Latin and swing dancing in Redding.

We have been really happy to introduce balllroom dance to literally over 1,000’s of Redding Area people.

Well, so sorry but we were told we can’t offer any dance classes for the rest of this month. They will reasses first of April so stay tuned.

Wonderful night with Linda Bott and Lou White band at the fundraiser for The Riverfront Playhouse. They will be opening soon at there brand new location. A lovely evening!

What a great event that Foothill High School puts on! club Cougar is an evening full of fun entertainment! Lots of dancing and superb big band, singing and fun play about 1930’s baseball.

Also a tasty dinner formally presented and served by the students. Great job by all those students making it a super pleasure to attend this annual event. Don’t miss out. It’s already on my calendar for next year!

Both Veronica and Velma got asked to dance with the young gentlemen dancers!. What fun!

I’m sure everyone had a great Christmas and even the weather was nice for it too.
Now on to the new year 2020. Wow! How did it get here so fast?!
Sad to say since our class would have been on the first but since it is another holiday we can’t get started until the 6th.

Starting Rumba for Monday’s and Waltz on Wednesday’s. So let’s start the New Years DANCING!
