We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to host Professor from and his family 🔺
It was a true honor to host a not only respected leader in our organization, but also a longtime friend. He shared high level half guard concepts and techniques that brought incredible detail, precision, and depth to our mats. Our students and guests walked away with valuable knowledge that will continue to elevate their jiu jitsu for years to come.
With over 80 people on the mats, the energy and unity were amazing. Thank you to all the Gracie Barra academies who joined us - for us, this is what it’s all about: community, growth and sharing knowledge.
We look forward to many more seminars ahead and grateful for the strong start to the year. Stay tuned. 🔺

Portland Open 2025 — What a Weekend! 🥇🥋
Huge congratulations to our Gracie Barra Bellevue competition team who went down to represent at the IBJJF Portland Open 2025! We’re incredibly proud of the 4 warriors from our academy who stepped on the mats and gave it everything they had. Even more special — our head instructor Prof. Carlos Sievert competed side by side with his students, setting the example and leading from the front. 🙌
With a total of 20 Gracie Barra athletes competing, we secured 2nd Place for Best Overall Team 🏆 — an amazing achievement and a testament to the strength of our GB family.
Win or learn, we are proud of every single competitor who showed courage, heart, and the true spirit of Jiu-Jitsu. The work continues!
