We were deeply honored to present Natyam, a dance mosaic of Bharat, at the 77th Republic Day of India celebration hosted by the Consulate General Of India, Seattle at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center. Natyam celebrated India’s rich cultural tapestry through rhythm, movement, and unity through diversity, brought to life in collaboration with many performing community groups and partners.
We are grateful to Consul General Prakash Gupta Ji for his continued trust and for giving us the opportunity to bring Natyam to this distinguished stage.
Creating new choreographies for this production, including new Vande Mataram choreographies in honor of the 150 years of Vande Mataram, has been a deeply emotional and fulfilling journey for me personally.
The evening was made even more special as we received a standing ovation from the entire audience and a felicitation in recognition of our work. This heartfelt response is something we will cherish for a long time.
The event was graced by esteemed leaders including First Lady of Washington State Hon’ble Colleen Ferguson, mayors from across the region, recently elected officials, spiritual leader Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji, and many Indian American community leaders whose presence added meaning and warmth to the celebration.
Natyam Collaborating Partners:
• Prashanthi Chitre Institute of Performing Arts
• Strings N Beats
• Seattle Adavu
• Seattle Taal Squad
• Bengali Friends of Seattle
• Seattle Rang Rasiya
• UW Kahaani
So grateful for each of our Natyam groups, your dedication, artistry, and spirit made this mosaic truly shine. Together, we celebrated Bharat in all its color, rhythm, and unity. 🙏❤️
🇮🇳 Proud to showcase India’s cultural heritage through Natyam and to be part of this memorable celebration.
