🔥 WE ARE OFFICIAL — KCBS JUDGES CLASS IS OPEN!
Our Certified BBQ Judge (CBJ) class is happening Friday, September 25 from 3–7pm at Marymoor Park, and registration is now live on our website.
If you’ve ever wanted to judge KCBS competitions, this is your moment.
Complete the class → become a Certified BBQ Judge → you’re eligible to judge any KCBS event nationwide.
And yes… that includes the opportunity for judging Smoke on the Sound on Sunday.
A few important notes:
• You must have an active KCBS membership to take the class
• Spots are limited
• This is the perfect kickoff to competition weekend!
After class, join us for The Big Meat‑Up at Flatstick Pub Redmond ( )— a community hangout for judges, teams, volunteers, and BBQ lovers to mix, mingle, and launch Smoke on the Sound weekend together.
