The 2026 Skyway to Highway "Fly-About" Adventure started with a BANG… literally. 💥
First stop: AZ to NV to visit my friend and fellow pilot, CC Pocock of Bush-Air, where we dreamed up an aviator’s way to celebrate America’s 250th. Filming from the right seat, I had a front-row view as the wings lit up the night sky. We also flew over Bullhead City, NV for a bird’s-eye view of the fireworks below — here’s a sneak peek from 3,000 feet.

Happy Fathers Day to all of the Dad's out there.

One of my fondest memories was flying him to an airshow right after I earned my pilot's license. He had long since quit flying, but the glimmer in his eyes expressed his continued love for aviation.

The photo is of one of the aircraft he owned...a Buhl Pup...quite rare now. My bedtime stories were..."There I Was!" I'd ask him to tell me the same stories a hundred times...and he never refused.

I love this song...it resonates with my soul and memories of him.
