We are so excited to attend Carnival in Rio! ๐๐น๐ง๐ท The most spectacular part of carnival is when the cityโs top samba schools compete at the sambodrome arena, with spectacular parades of floats and thousands of dancers that last for an hour each, and cost millions, until dawn ๐คฉ With us, you will see this spectacular show from the VIP lounge โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ And guess what?! There will be unlimited food and drinks๐น

The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden or Jardim Botรขnico is marvelous! ๐คฉ This botanical paradise awes its visitors with more than 6,000 indigenous and exotic species of flora. The serene garden hosts everything from orchids to jasmine-mango heliconias. ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ดThe gardens were originally created in 1808 by Regent Prince D. Joรฃo to acclimatize spices from other regions, and since its debut to the public in 1822, the verdant sanctuary has become a haven for locals and tourists; Albert Einstein even dropped in! โญ๏ธThe national park is also known as a premier botany and ecology research center.

Sitting atop Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redeemer is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable monuments in the world ๐บ ๐ง๐ท
But how much do you really know about this famous statue? Here weโve put together a few facts about Christ the Redeemer that you might not have heard before ๐
1. Due to the statueโs mountaintop position, itโs prone to lightning strikes and gets hit around three to six times a year. Prior to the FIFA World Cup in 2014, lightning struck and broke one of the statueโs thumbs.
2. Construction of the statue took 9 years. Beginning in 1922, it was finally finished in 1931 at a cost of $250,000 US.
3. The statue boasts an impressive title. In 2007 it was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World alongside top sights such as the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu and the Rose City of Petra.
4. Itโs one of the largest statues of Jesus in the world. Christ the Redeemer reaches a height of 30 metres and boasts an arm span of 28 metres.
5. Each year, Christ the Redeemer is visited by nearly 2 million people. The record number of visitors to the statue in a single day was a huge 14,000 during Easter of 2011.
