When I was 24 I discovered that I wanted to be the best golf coach in the world.

I read all the books. I took all the lessons. I went to all the seminars. I invested every waking hour in my development as a coach. Even my decision to win the US OPEN was a continuation of that.

I thought (and said out loud probably too often) if I can win the US OPEN, I can inspire people that they can achieve whatever they dream of and work for.
I planned to win the US OPEN and then say ‘see, I told you so’.

Spoiler alert, I stopped attempting to win the US OPEN.

At a point (detailed in almost every podcast I’m on) I lost my passion - and started feeling stress.

It wasn’t until recently that I realized that I could get back on track with my own life’s purpose through MNML GOLF.

For a summary: My life’s purpose is about helping people be the best they can be at the thing they care the most about. I know that’s my life’s purpose because it’s the thing that lights me up inside the most.

And through MNML GOLF, we have a million opportunities to do this.

Most recently, we sought out 25 juniors who were living their dreams on the golf course and surprised them with a new golf bag and some other gear to help them keep the dream alive.

But back to the topic of this email: knowing your purpose in life will make all decisions easier.

Just ask this question: Does this help grow the pursuit of my life’s purpose, or does it slow it down.

If the answer is yes, you do it, immediately if possible.

If the answer is no. Well that’s obvious.

A 5x multiplier is industry standard and a product is typically priced at 5x its production cost.

So if a golf bag retails at $450, divide that by 5 = $90, and you have the production cost.

But check this out, if we did the typical 5x multiplier, our bags would be $1000 (more with tech).

And then sure, we could offer 15% off when you sign up for an email list.

We could offer 40% off for black friday.

We could give free bags to influencers and sign endorsement deals.

And all of that would drive volume!

It would trick you into buying something because it was endorsed by a paid athlete and is 40% off this one time and for a limited time you can get 15% off if you sign up blah blah blah.

But we don’t do that.

And that’s why you can buy a MNML GOLF Bag with insanely high value for the same or less retail cost.

We ARE an outlier. And it’s intentional.
