My little guy turns 2! Gearing up for terrible 2️⃣ This year has taught me a lot about the importance of health, with him starting daycare and getting sick often. Finding time to exercise and keeping my fitness has sometimes taken a backseat, but I realized that there are always things you can do. ALWAYS. Don't forget to take care of yourself too. The key is not "do it later," but TAKE ACTION.

Today marks year number 6️⃣ for DGF 🎊🎉
With that said, we are introducing our new logo! Thank you, Blair and Ryan! The embedded ♾️ signifies longevity and time.
We believe that fitness shouldn't be a crash-and-burn, where you lose x-amount of weight as fast as possible. People's habits and behaviors can not be changed in a short amount of time; it must be done through a gradual and arduous process.
Fitness doesn't have to be about how you look, have the best abs, or how many lines you see in your arms. It's about how YOU feel. This changes after being 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, or 90 years old. Priorities change.
It's about being able to maximize the body's potential at the moment, not what it used to be. The body changes as we age, and so should your workouts. We have had the privilege of training 80s and 90-year-old clients, and unanimously, they have helped us realize what the human body is capable of.
We look forward to what this year has in store for us, and thank you for your support! 🙏

In 7 months of training, her osteoporosis score was reduced by more than 50%! One of the most underrated benefits of strength training is the effect it has on 🦴 density. As we get older, our bone density drops but weight-bearing exercises can improve and reverse the course.
Plus, she is able to carry her ever-growing granddaughter with EASE. It is stories like this that bring joy to what I do. In the 14 years of being a personal trainer, I never imagined having a client in a different state (PORTLAND CALIFORNIA).
