Been train with the TRX for over 13 years. At 51 years old, I find the TRX helps me with Core Strength and Flexibility. Martial Arts training can be hard on the body, TRX is great for preventing injuries and also great for working out safely during the Rehabilitation process if an injury happens.

I enjoy Training in different Styles of Martial Arts a long with being a Certified Personal Trainer. This gives me a lot of understanding about what type of Strength and Conditioning I need and other Combat Athletes need to continue to get Stronger, Faster, more Endurance, while staying away from Injury 🇺🇸🥋🇰🇷🥋🇧🇷🥋🇯🇵💪🇵🇭🦅

Especially for learning more advanced Jiu Jitsu moves, many Martial Arts Students will have to practice Flexibility Training and Drill and condition the body to be fluid instead of tight and slow.

I train Martial Arts for the Health Benefits, Self Defense, and Self Confidence. Many of the people I meet while training say they also train for those reasons. Few people say they train to be a Martial Arts Competitor or fewer, to be a Mixed Martial Arts Fighter. Because of the popularity of Competition and MMA we have to learn to deal with those who like to “Train Hard”. Many people will never train again if they get matched up with the wrong person or injured. Those training to build Self Confidence won’t continue if they leave class feeling “beat down” instead of “built up”. Last Self Defense, it is really foolish for us to injure ourselves over and over again training for a “Street Attack” that may never happen.
Preventing and dealing with injury becomes the biggest Opponent we face in our Martial Arts Career.
