REGISTRATION EXTENDED AND A POWER BAR?
Registrations have been flowing in right at the end and we are very excited to announce that someone will be going home with one brand new Texas Power Bars. We cleared the number needed to guarantee this and have also decided to extend the registration one more week.
Hard to believe that we are only 3 weeks away from our 2nd meet in Iowa for 2026. We are already looking at our schedule for 2027 for meets we can host in Iowa.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
We've said it before and we'll say it again, we love seeing everyone crush it on the platform. Seeing people of all walks of life come together and uplift each other and not even know them is such a cool feeling.
Seeing a huge lift is always amazing also but nothing inspires us more than to see something like this be accomplished on the platform with no excuses being given, no worries about how many social media followers he has or the amazing internet judges that want to tear a lift down and they see it from the worst angle possible.
Gerald Lindas is 90 years young. No excuses. Just putting in the work and breaking National records like it's just another day.

ON OUR WAY TO ANOTHER COMBO RACK GIVE AWAY!
After another amazing weekend where a lifter that earned it, went home with a brand new Fry's Fitness combo rack. Smash Iron Fitness is 4 for 4 with sell outs. Will this be 5 for 5 and see a lifter that earned it take home a brand new Fry's Fitness combo rack?
With 3 small flights already, our guess is YES we will see someone go home with it but guess we will have to see if that is the case.
Once again, if this is your meet that you are training for, do not wait to get in. Once we close registration, we will NOT be opening up spots and we do not run a wait list.

JUST SIMPLY WOW!
All of our meets are very special in there own way. This one hit different. Felt way bigger than a local meet because of each and everyone that comes to lift, volunteer, watch and support which includes our amazing sponsors also.
Thank you to everyone for the kind words throughout the whole meet. Every word spoken pulled on the heart strings and this is why we have taken our meets to the level we have, for each and everyone of you that deserve it.

JUST A LOCAL MEET?
Big meet feel incoming tomorrow. Over 10,000SQFT, 3 different sections to the conference room including full warm up area with a huge lounge area for coaches and lifters, platform area with well over 100 chairs and more space to stand, and another full room for the fan experience with co****le, connect 4, coloring books, and a banner with podium with signs to hold and wear the Stone Cold Steve Austin replica belt.
4 flights, completely full and sold out. Going to be an amazing day for all. Big announcements coming first hand for the lifters tomorrow about our 2027 schedule. Stay Tuned.

YOU'VE GOT MAIL?
We are one week away from the start of something that became a huge success in the first year and sold out and we are already looking forward to plans for year 2. Announcement to be made at Border Wars next Saturday.
Aug 30th we sent out the rules briefing, roster, photographer pricing and maps of Chula Vista Resort to make it easier for everyone to know exactly where everything is located for the meet. If you have not received it, please reach out. We have had several people reach out about not receiving it and the screenshots show their address on the email. Either way, we want to make sure that everyone has the info needed ahead of time.
See everyone in 7 days for our scheduled weigh ins of 9-11 AM and 4-5 PM.

POSSIBLY OVER $4,000 FROM US!
Midwest Regionals already has the potential of giving back over $4,000 in merchandise from Fry's Family Fitness alone per the registration requirements. This does not include all of our other amazing sponsors who always come through with large amounts of merch and gift certificates for our larger meets. We believe that once everything is said and done and the meet sells out, we could be in the $7-8,000 mark.
Remember, do not hesitate to get your registrations in if this is the meet that you are training for because if it sells out, we will NOT be having a waiting list to get in.
Will we have some other surprises up our sleeves for this meet. Time will tell and we are working on something huge and monster sized. HINT HINT.

BATTLE FOR THE FUND RAISER MONEY!
We will be having our 6th annual Swoleman Classic on Feb 6, 2027. What started as an idea to start back up the Love to Lift raffle has turned into something that is going to be huge.
We will be having our regular USPA comp on this day. As of right now, there will be a team of 3 Reedsburg Fire Department and 3 City of Reedsburg Ambulance that will be competing against each other for the final raffle prize total money.
Fry's Family Fitness is putting in the first $1000 towards the pot. As we get closer, probably around mid October/early November, we will be asking our local community and businesses if they would like to donate to the pot through a one time donation or a raffle prize for the prize to be raffled off on the day of the comp. The breakout for the pool of money will be as follows:
Breast Cancer Research Foundation - 25%
American Stroke Foundation - 25%
1st place team - 30%
2nd place team - 20%
Example from the $1000 that we have put in already. BCRF $250, ASF $250, if fire wins $300, if City of Reedsburg Ambulance comes in 2nd $200
As you can see, the more we raise, the more that these amazing foundations and local community will get.
Mark your calendars now for Feb 6, 2027. Once we collect our first raffle prize, we will start with the ticket sales. You do not have to be a gym member to purchase tickets and you do not have to be present that day either to win.
