Burned some expensive fuel and went well into OT to find some mahi but we managed a nice box with a few dandies. Quick drop for seabass produced the cherry on top. Thank you to our group for sticking with me during the slow morning and bumpy seas!

What's going to be higher?... The fuel price or offshore winds???

Pretty good fishing today on our 4 hour half day trip, 4 keeper flounders 2 keeper bass with a bunch of croakers and sea robin. Soon the sea trout will be showing up as well with the cooler temps!

Mahi marathon tomorrow then looks like we are stuck at the dock for the forseeable future

Short weather window today for Justin Poland, Paul Santa Barbara and Rick Hoover. Beautiful ride out and first few hours capturing 15 mahi's and jigging up 5 nice seabass. Then at 930am the north wind and heavy rain arrived and we headed for the barn. Not too shabby for what we were given to work with!

Off tomorrow and hopefully on the mahi/bass again Sunday!

Tough fishing conditions today for Alan Whites group as we followed out last nights storm then confronted with strong west winds and black flies. High seas didn't stop us from finding 34 mahi and a bunch of jacks and seabass. The tilefish were saved but Alan will be back next time!!!

Try it again tomorrow hopefully it's nice!

Our couple from NJ came down to experience our mahi and seabass fishing and we put together a nice box with a limit of mahi and a nice pile of bass! Thank you for fishing with us!

Another 4 man limit of mahi was had today by Bruce Koster, Rock Hoover, Jon Nuttle, & Steve Lloyd. Tilefish was a struggle but we did bag a nice golden on our first drop. Another great day on the Action Jackson!!!

A valiant effort was made today by Big John's group to try to get a 4 man limit of mahi & black seabass today. We boxed up our 40 mahi with our largest at 7.4 pounds then worked at our seabass til the thunderstorms ended our day with 50 seabass, 10 shy of our limit. We did capture a big flounder, big searobins, big jacks, and a big starfish to boot!

I can't stress it enough, NOW IS THE TIME TO BOOK! We have this coming Monday August 31st & Thursday September 3rd available. Fishing is as good as it gets RIGHT NOW and we are consistently putting together great trips. Mahi, Seabass, Flounder, Mackerel, Bluefish, Shark, Tilefish, 4 hour, 6 hour, 8 hour, 12 hour, let's go fishing!!!
