You want to slow your spinnerbait down, but you still need it to stay above the cover.

That’s a reason to tie on Taylor Man's Super Spin Elite Tandem.

Its flatter, shallow-cup willow main blade provides more lift and keeps turning at slower speeds, helping you hold the bait higher without having to reel as fast.

That special willow also swings wider and produces more vibration than a standard willow. Paired with the Colorado kicker, it gives you willow flash with a stronger thump.

When bass are positioned around shallow cover and you want a slower pass through that water, this is a blade combination worth having tied on.

You’ve found bass holding over submerged grass, but slowing your spinnerbait down keeps putting it in the w**ds.

Reeling faster clears the grass. It also takes away the slower presentation you’re trying to make.

Blade lift matters here. A blade combination that provides more lift can help you keep the bait above the grass at the retrieve speed you want.

That’s a reason to consider Taylor Man's Super Spin Elite with its shallow-cup willow blades.

Watch where the grass tops out and keep your bait in the open water above it. Adjust your rod angle and retrieve as the grass height changes.

Your jig reaches the laydown. Before you move it again, give it a moment beside the wood.

If a bass is holding tight to a limb, another hop can pull the jig away from the very spot you wanted to fish.

Let it settle. Pause before working it over the next branch.

That pause is where the living rubber in Taylor Man's Pro Series Hybrid Flipping Jig earns its place. The strands slowly flare and settle after the jig stops, adding subtle movement while the bait stays beside the cover.

It’s a useful option when you’re working rock around scattered wood and want to give the fish a longer look between movements.

Another good time to pause is when you pull it up to a limb, don't go over it immediately, pause then let it fall to the bottom one more time. Sometimes that pause along with the sudden fall can get extra bites.

That short stretch beside the stump might be the most important part of your retrieve.

If your buzzbait is still getting onto the surface as it passes, you’ve used up that stretch getting the bait started.

When there’s room, cast beyond the target. Feather the spool before touchdown, engage the reel promptly, and start with the rod tip high to help bring the bait up. Lower it as the retrieve settles.

With the Pond Skater, make that setup part of the cast.

The goal is to have the blade turning and the bait running on the surface before it reaches the cover where you expect the bite.

Fall bass aren't always chasing bait. Sometimes you've got to go in after them!

As the water cools and vegetation starts dying back, bass often hold tight to the remaining green grass, laydowns, brush, and other cover. That's when the Taylor Man's SnaggleProof Jig really shines.

Unlike traditional jigs, the SnaggleProof doesn't rely on a stiff fiber w**d guard. Its unique rear trailer attachment lets you Texas-rig your soft plastic trailer to help protect the hook point while giving you cleaner hook exposure when a bass bites.

Pitch it into the thick stuff, work it around wood, or crawl it through the remaining grass. Whether you're targeting aggressive fall bass or slowing down after a cold front, the SnaggleProof lets you fish the cover where those fish are holding.

Quit fishing around the cover. Get in there where the bass live!

Check out the SnaggleProof Jig, choose your favorite color and build, and put it to work this fall.

The back of the pocket isn’t always where the fall bite is happening.

When you’re fishing windy banks, look for shad and work out where the bass are feeding. That might be near the mouth, halfway back, or all the way in the back. Don’t skip productive water just because you expect them farther in.

A 1/2 oz Double Willow Leaf Glamour Shad in White Nato is a good starting point for covering those banks. The white skirt gives you a shad-colored profile, while the willow blades add flash as you work through the area.

Adjust your retrieve to keep it near the depth where the bass are feeding. When you find shad and get a bite, pay attention to what made that stretch different so you can look for it again.

Where are you finding shad right now: near the mouths of pockets, halfway back, or in the backs?

DA dock gives you several places to fish. Where the bass are holding determines the job your lure needs to do.

Here’s the thinking behind these six Taylor Man's picks:

1. Glamour Shad, Wicked Sunfish: A bluegill profile for shaded cover. Run it close beneath floats and beside supports.

2. Glamour Shad, Threadfin Shad: The baitfish alternative. Work those same targets when shad, minnows or herring are the forage.

3. Flex Cast Jig, Crayfish Orange: A crawfish presentation for bottom-oriented fish. Pitch around posts and beneath docks, following the shade beyond the decking.

4. Perfect Swimmer, White Nato: A subtler baitfish presentation when spinnerbaits aren't getting responses. Swim it through slips and beside floats.

5. Heavy Wire Finesse Jig, Green Pumpkin: A subtle bottom option. Work around posts with slower movements and pauses.

6. Pond Skater, Chartreuse White: A surface option when bass will come up. Run it tight along dock edges and walkways.

When bass are feeding on small baitfish, a compact spinnerbait deserves a spot in the rotation.

Taylor Man's Taylor Tots Spinnerbaits give you a smaller, 1/4 oz profile for ponds, creeks, and those days when bass follow a larger spinnerbait without committing.

Each one features a 4/0 Gamakatsu hook, a hand wire-tied Bio-Flex silicone skirt, a Sampo stainless steel ball-bearing swivel, and an integrated bait keeper to hold your trailer in place. A small bait built with the same quality components just like our larger offerings in a smaller profile.

Choose Single Colorado, Double Colorado, Tandem Willow, or Double Willow to adjust vibration, lift, and flash while keeping that compact profile.

Sometimes you need to fish a finesse jig but you always need enough hook to get your fish in the boat and one that you can fish on heavier line. We got you.

Taylor Man's Heavy Wire Finesse Jigs pair that finesse jig profile with a heavy wire Gamakatsu hook, making them a useful choice around docks, sparse cover, and rocky banks when you want to scale down your presentation.

The round ball head gives you options to drag, hop, or swim it. Each skirt is hand-tied with stainless steel wire, and the head features a baked-on powder coat finish. Choose Bio-Flex silicone or a living rubber option, with optional Shot Shell rattles when you want added sound.

Available in 3/16, 5/16, and 7/16 oz, so you can adjust fall rate and bottom contact while keeping the smaller profile.
