What a day! 🚣‍♂️✨ Had an absolute blast hosting our 1st Annual Employee Family Float!

Highlights from the day:

* Reconnecting: So good catching up with familiar faces and seeing old friends. ❤️

* Perfect Timing: The weather held out for an amazing day on the water—and we managed to beat the rain! 🌦️⚡

* Tailgate Feast: Chowed down on a delicious buffet-style dinner served right off the truck bed. 🍗🚐

We missed out on the bonfire 🔥, but the energy was top-notch from start to finish. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to make it so special! 🌊👥

💦 Water On at the Hiwassee River Tomorrow! ☀️

​We’ve got great news—the water will be back on tomorrow, Sunday the 13th, from Noon to 11:00 PM!

​Staff will be on-site from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM to help with shuttles. It’s going to be mostly sunny with a high of 88°, making it the absolute perfect day to come out, cool off, and float the afternoon away! 🛟✨

​The TVA Apalachia Powerhouse is scheduled to release water tomorrow from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM ⏰. Our staff will be on-site, and proceed as normal. 🚛💨

​📅 Tomorrow's Schedule:

​11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Employee Meeting 📋👥

​12:00 PM (Noon): Family Rafting Trip Launch 🛶🌊

​After Rafting: Dinner & Reunion 🍔🍻

​The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has announced that the Apalachia Powerhouse will be running 2 or more generators starting Wednesday, September 9th, from Noon through 1:00 AM Thursday, September 10th. 🚣‍♂️📊
