Pilates is not a treatment for scoliosis.
However, it is an excellent form of exercise for clients with scoliosis who want to prevent their condition from getting worse. The key is working with a knowledgeable, well‑trained instructor who understands how to adapt movements safely for spinal asymmetries.
The Schroth Method is a treatment, and I’ll be completing that training soon so I can better support my clients with scoliosis.

Day 3 — yesterday was amazing! I had the chance to join the wonderful PT teacher , and what a beautiful soul she is. I can’t wait to learn more about scoliosis with her.
Lunch-break workouts with these gorgeous girls, inside and out — , , and — and I wrapped up the day with a flexibility and mobility workshop with , alongside my sister . The perfect way to close out the day and the weekend. Thank you for this outstanding event.
This weekend made me reflect a lot on my PT and Pilates journey over the years… and honestly, I couldn’t be more proud of myself or more certain that I chose the best career.
