As planned, our 2026 fall events will go on, and we’re looking forward to a great season!

We are excited to move forward with a full fall schedule and hope to see everyone out there supporting the dogs, handlers, and our club!

Come out to the Reno Kennel Club Show this weekend! 🐾🐕
Join us Friday through Sunday at the Reno Livestock Event Center for one of the only local Northern Nevada dog shows of the year!
Several GSPC of Reno club members will be exhibiting their dogs throughout the weekend. In addition to the main show, there will be several breed specialties and plenty of fantastic vendors to shop for your favorite pup! 🛍️✨

Come support our local handlers, cheer on the dogs, and enjoy a fun-filled weekend!

Our monthly club training was held this morning, it was a pretty small turn out but still very successful and lots of good bird work before it got too hot! 🥵
Even our newest member “Ember” was there to experience all the world has to offer, a lot to take in for a nine week old pup but she was fearless!

Another great club training this morning, and a big crowd despite the holiday. Thanks to everyone who came out with their dogs! We had coffee, donuts and cantaloupe too! A spicy little (harmless) friend joined us as well. Hope to see everyone next month! 🐍

🔴 Safety First! 🔴
Yesterday, 8 of our GSPC of Reno club members stepped up and spent their day getting certified in CPR and First Aid! 🙌
A huge thank you to Kristen at Advanced CPR Instruction for running such a fantastic, informative, and engaging class. You made the learning experience seamless, and we feel incredibly prepared.
In addition to our newly certified members, the club has also invested in a brand-new trauma/first aid bag and a portable AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Moving forward, both of these lifesaving tools will be present and easily accessible at all club events.

We love our club community, and ensuring everyone's safety while we enjoy our dogs is our top priority. Thank you to everyone who participated! 🐾❤️
