Tahoe Field Hockey

Weekly field hockey pick-up games. New players always welcomed. No experience necessary. Soon the group discovered a small turf at Truckee Elementary.

Tahoe Field Hockey began in April 2009, after two field hockey friends couldn't stand another year without playing the sport. A group of experienced and beginner players began meeting weekly to play the sport in the tall grasses of Truckee's Park and Rec fields. Since then, locations changed to better serve the team members, North Tahoe High School in Tahoe City, Squaw Valley Park turf fields and North Tahoe Regional Park in Tahoe Vista.
