I am hosting a trivia night at next week 3/29 @ 7:30pm & would love to see ALL OF RENO THERE.

Hello Instagram!

I want to drop this SICK logo down for ya’ll to let you know I’m going to take a little break from IG Land.

I’m curious if it’s something that’s actually serving my business and my clients at this moment.

I know for a fact that I don’t feel great mentally after spending -literally- any time on social media. I want to be the best me I can be for myself- which will then overflow onto my clients.

Every week my iPhone gives me “Screen Time” updates… the amount of time I spend on IG is bonkers & I can almost guarantee that my business will thrive if I put that time into my client programming, website development, nutrition certification, client check ins, etc. (literally anything else)

My clients make my business, and I feel an extreme pull to spend time orbiting them offline right now.
I was a successful massage therapist for 16+ years. I built my practice quick by word of mouth. I truly believe that in my industry- if you just do a good fu***ng job at your job- your business will be solid. I don’t want to lose the art of real life (personally or professionally), and this is me taking the first step in practicing that.

As always, I’m happy to chat about training/ answer any questions. I am also taking new clients right now. (lol if this post gets me new clients- so typical)

If there is a form of self care that seems hard/challenging/expensive/time consuming, that means it probably works.

Results don’t need reminders to show up, save your energy for the process, because it’s hard. The results will show up in their own time, & when they do- they’ll change your life.

Hamstring strength = knee health.

Physioball Hamstring Curls-

I actually hate these, but I still program them because my knees have been better behaved since they’ve been in my life.

Next time you’re at the gym (or around a physioball) give them a try!

I would suggest to start out with 2 sets of 8 as a warm up and then 3 sets of 10-15.

Eventually work your way up to 2 sets of 8 and 3 sets of 25.

(Keep your butt off the ground the whole time & core TIGHT.)

Single Leg Hip Thrust.

I’ve said it before- single side movement (unilateral) is where it’s at! We are uneven creatures and the only way that we can pinpoint our muscle compensations is with single side strength training.

Single side stuff is good for your brain too. You’re forced to settle into the fact that your reps are doubled and THAT SUCKS. But, it’s worth it. I promise.

habit has been up and running for over four months now.

I’m having a blast and truly enjoying the connection I make with every single human that walks into the door.

Creating & managing this space is an absolute dream come true. I’m not one to admit when I’m , but damn. I am though.

I individually customize every session based on client goals & body type. My work centers around reversal of chronic pain & strengthening tissue so you move through the world strong.

Fat loss is a component to escaping chronic pain too. Don’t worry, I am also capable of getting your heart rate through the roof if you need a quick vanity cut for summer. (However… fat loss centers heavily around nutrition, but that’s a whole other post 😉.)

Oh also, I’m obsessed with glute work. So, if you wanna grow a b***y, I’m your girl, ya’ll.
