Very excited to share a first-look at a new timing system. This system has been 3 years in the making and leverages AI and machine learning to detect and identify when a racer crosses the finish line. Footage was captured during PRTC earlier this year.
From there the system is able to calculate lap times and speeds and pushes all of this information to a public website. This gives teams and race fans realtime updates during the race.
