🏆 Championship golf was on full display this weekend at Somersett Golf & Country Club.

Congratulations to our 2026 Men’s Member-Member Champions, Jason Ramirez and Evan Martin, who emerged victorious after a thrilling championship shootout featuring 15 teams and multiple elimination rounds.

The final four teams represented the Augusta, Cypress Point, Pasatiempo, and Meadow Club flights, with Jason and Evan advancing to an alternate-shot playoff against Rod Ghilarducci and Joe Leonis. The battle extended to three playoff holes before Evan converted his fourth birdie putt of the round to secure the championship.

Congratulations to all of our flight winners, finalists, and participants for an unforgettable weekend of competition, camaraderie, and championship golf.

☀️🎶🍺 Last Friday, we kicked off our First Fridays on The Bunker Patio summer series with BBQ & Brews—an evening filled with live music, classic barbecue favorites fresh from the grill, cold draft beer, and great company against the backdrop of one of the best patio views in Reno.

A special thank you to musical duo Ron Savage and Jackie Landrum for providing the perfect soundtrack to a wonderful summer evening.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our first First Friday of the season such a success.

What a way to kick off the season! 💗⛳

This past Saturday, the Somersett Ladies Golf Association hosted our annual Pink Ball Tournament, and for the first time ever… the “Pink Ball curse” was officially broken with absolutely beautiful weather from start to finish! ☀️🌸

An incredible 88 ladies participated — making this our largest Pink Ball turnout to date and an amazing start to the tournament season at Somersett Golf & Country Club. From longtime players to many new SLGA members, it was wonderful to see golfers of all skill levels come together for such a fun, welcoming, and spirited day on the course… all decked out in pink, of course! 💕

What a wonderful kickoff to the ⛳ golf season as we welcomed new members to the Somersett Golf & Country Club community at last Thursday’s New Member Mixer.

A heartfelt thank you to our Board, staff, and members who helped create such a warm and memorable evening. The conversations, laughter, and new connections throughout the night truly reflected what makes our Club so special.

And to top it all off, the evening ended with a beautiful rainbow in the sky — the perfect finish to an unforgettable evening. 🌈
