Rancho San Rafael Regional Park and the Peavine trail network are undergoing a major addition this month. The Biggest Little Trail Stewardship is currently working to revamp the Reno Vista Trail. We couldn't be more excited about this addition to our trail system. The views from this new flow trail promise to be world class.
Please respect trail closures while under construction and allow trails to dry before use.

Bypass and bike path on the way for Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe A few major projects are in the works at the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe including the long-awaited Bypass and Pyramid Lake Bike Path project.

The tunnel under McCarran will be closed today and intermittingly throughout the week for painting inside the tunnel, please plan accordingly. Thank you!

Washoe County is hosting a preliminary discussion related to the trailhead development off Timberline Rd by Whites Creek. For any inquiries, please direct people to the neighborhood meeting HUB, found here:

The Truckee Meadows Trails Challenge is a goal-oriented program exploring trails throughout the Truckee Meadows. Once registered, your challenge lasts for one year. Set a goal, go out and hike, and join the Parks Foundation every month by signing up for the guided, interpretive hike that focuses on the natural and cultural history of the area. 🌲
