What an incredible night at the University of Nevada, Reno Harp Fest!

We are so proud of our NNBA dancers for representing our academy with such passion, professionalism, and artistry alongside the beautiful music produced and performed by UNR harp instructor Marina Roznitovsky Oster and guest artists. The audience response was truly heartwarming, and it means so much to be part of events that bring our community together through the arts.

Moments like these remind us how powerful collaboration can be. As a young academy, we are grateful for every opportunity to share dance beyond our walls, connect with the Northern Nevada community, and continue building something meaningful for our students.

A huge thank you to all of our dancers, families, teachers, and everyone who supported this special evening. We are excited for what’s ahead!

Big news for Summer Intensive 2026 at Northern Nevada Ballet Academy!

This summer is shaping up to be one of the most exciting training experiences we have ever offered.

From July 6–31, dancers will have the opportunity to train in an energetic, inspiring environment designed to help them grow technically, artistically, and personally. Whether attending one week or the full program, every dancer will be surrounded by motivation, high level instruction, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

We are thrilled to announce that this year we will welcome five incredible guest teachers bringing experience and inspiration from different parts of the country, along with our outstanding NNBA faculty.

Even more exciting, international students will be joining us this summer, creating a unique experience where dancers can connect, learn, and train alongside others from around the world.

Training throughout the intensive will include ballet, pointe, conditioning, Pilates, PBT, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, tap, musical theatre, flexibility, artistry, and more.

This is more than a summer program. It is a chance to level up, build confidence, make friendships, and be part of something special.

What do NNBA students do during spring break? 🤩

They give back to the community by donating their time.

This week, students and families from Northern Nevada Ballet Academy volunteered with Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada to help serve our community. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support such an important organization and to work alongside people who dedicate their lives to helping others.

A special thank you to our NNBA families who helped lead and organize this volunteering effort. Your generosity, time, and heart truly reflect what our academy is about.

And the giving doesn’t stop here. Our students will be at another location tomorrow to continue volunteering and serving our community.

What a weekend at YAGP ✨

Not only did we bring strong technique, but more importantly we brought storytelling. Our dancers stepped on stage with heart, emotion, and purpose, turning each variation into something meaningful. That is what true artistry is all about.

What made me even more proud is that we did not just bring dancers, we brought a team. In a space where competition can easily take over, our dancers chose something different. They chose friendship. They supported one another, lifted each other up, and truly celebrated each other’s moments. That kind of environment is rare and very special.

To our amazing parents, thank you. The support, the energy, the laughter, and the moments we shared together, especially those dinners and time outside the theater, are what make this journey so meaningful. These are the memories that last.

Yes, we celebrate the results, but more importantly we celebrate growth, courage, connection, and the joy of performing.

What a weekend 💛
Our competition team stepped on stage last weekend with so much heart, joy, and togetherness, and it truly showed. Beyond the beautiful dancing, what stood out most was the team bonding, the kindness, and the genuine love these dancers have for one another. Every cheer, every hug, every quiet moment of support backstage mattered. You can feel how deeply they care for each other, and that kind of connection is everything.

We are endlessly grateful for our amazing parents who show up with patience, encouragement, and trust, and for our dedicated teachers and coaches who pour so much time, knowledge, and belief into these dancers every single day. This team is built on respect, hard work, and a whole lot of heart.

And on top of it all, we are so excited and proud to have received so many wonderful awards. Those moments were such a celebration of the work these dancers have been doing together.

A huge thank you to AXIS Competition for bringing such an incredible event to our local community. From the perspective of our dancers, teachers, and families, it was inspiring, supportive, and so well run. We are grateful to be part of such a positive and encouraging competition experience.
